Is-sinjal għal SEMA’ jew JISMA’ għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal WIDNA bil-werrej ta’ id waħda jmiss il-widna. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal OKAY b’id waħda forma ta’ ponn bis-saba’ l-kbir ’il barra u jħares ’il fuq u bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa.
The sign for HEAR or CAN HEAR has two parts. (i) First the sign for EAR is made with the index finger of one hand touching the ear. (ii) Then the sign for OKAY is made with one hand in the shape of a fist with the thumb protruding upwards and with the palm facing inwards.
